This is Rolo, a 5 month old Show Cocker Spaniel enjoying a bouncy walk to the park with Amber. Doggy day care almost always includes a good walk or two for the all-important exercise, socialising and sniffing! Our regular walks include Queen’s Park, Orrest Head, St Catherine’s Wood, School Knott and the trail by the lake.

Play time is often on the agenda too as many dogs and puppies that stay with us are very excited and want to get all the toys out, dashing about the house, in and out of the garden. Amber happily shares her toys with other dogs and especially loves the high-energy Cocker Spaniels. Perhaps because they remind her of her Mum!

Then there’s a little chill out time. Rolo loved watching Pet TV – little chipmunks and squirrels hopping about in the woods. Here’s the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmFixCKXvxI

…and finally nap time! Even though it only lasted for 45 minutes, it was an essential part of a busy day having fun. Rolo’s owners gave me his food so I could ensure he kept to his feeding times and after that, it was time to go home and sleep soundly for many hours.
