Pet business insurance

I am fully insured with Protectivity and can provide documentation upon request. I also have a healthcare agreement with Oakhill Vets in Windermere for any pet under my care. They have an emergency department and it’s less than 10 minutes from where I live. Should there be any cause for concern, I won’t hesitate to take your dog to be seen by a Vet.

DBS checked

I have completed a Disclosure and Barring Service check and can provide the certificate upon request. I felt this was necessary to give my clients peace of mind. I always put myself in my client’s shoes and think about what would make me feel more at ease when allowing someone to take care of my beloved pet or stay in my home. I hope that my genuine, verified reviews on Google also provide reassurance.

Qualifications

I have completed The Dog Walkers & Sitters Association (DWSA) Certificate with the British College of Canine Studies which is accredited and adds to my continuing professional development. This also grants me full membership to the DWSA and directory listing – DBS check and insurance is reviewed by the DWSA before granting membership.

Home boarding licence

My home boarding licence number with South Lakeland Council is: AHB043418. My house, garden and animal welfare policies are regularly inspected and reviewed by my assigned, Animal Welfare Officer to ensure I meet the critera for having an extra little pup to stay.

Consent form

When making a booking, I will send you a booking and consent form and before any monies are taken. I kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel for any reason and payment in advance. I’ll also send my policies for the health, safety and wellbeing of your dog.

Please note: I only accept small – medium sized dogs as I find they are a better match for my young cockapoo.
