Windermere Dog Sitting

Doggy day care

I have a licence for doggy day care AHB043418 so you can drop your dog off at my home in Windermere village for the day.

I charge £40 per day (up to 8 hours) for doggy day care. Or £50 per day for two dogs from the same household. I’ll never take in more dogs than that on any given day. We have lots of toys and clean, fluffy bedding in our very cosy home. Procedures are in place for daily cleaning, feeding, hydration, toileting, walking, garden time, enrichment activities and emergencies. I’ll take your advice on feeding your dog/s and how much.

Dog sitting

I offer dog sitting in your home or holiday home. Amber follows me everywhere I go and she is excellent around other dogs, always keen to say hello and play if she’s welcome. She has a very gentle and calm nature but is also outgoing and playful when invited. She will respect the nature and boundaries of your dog and so will I.

I charge £10 per hour for dog sitting. I’ll send regular updates by text with photos and videos to reassure you that your pup is getting the best care whilst you’re away. If I’m staying at your home or holiday home, I will bring my own food, bed and bedding so you don’t need to worry about preparing anything.

Home boarding

I have a licence for home boarding for dogs AHB043418 so you can drop your dog off at my home in Windermere village.

I charge £50 per night for home boarding. Or £60 for two dogs from the same household. I have a two bedroom cottage with a secure garden. It’s just Amber (my dog) and I that live here. We have room to accomodate one other dog (or two from the same household) on a temporary basis.

Dog walking

I am happy to walk your dog/s too, either from your home or from mine. Amber will be tagging along but I will never walk more dogs than that at any given time. I like to play close attention to the animals I’m with and ensure safety at all times. I will take your guidance on whether to give treats or their food afterwards. I’ll always carry water and dog bowls with me and of course, the necessary poopy bags! I’ll do a full body check after the walk to make sure there are no pesky ticks, grass seeds or abrasions and ensure they are clean before their return home.

I charge £15 per hour for dog walking and can take your dog/s to any favourite places they like. Ours are Orrest Head, High Hag Wood, Queen’s Park and School Knott.

Pop-in visits

I’m happy to pop in to check on your dog whilst you’re out for anything they need like toileting, feeding, medication, play time or reasssurance.

I charge £10 per visit and will stay for 1 hour.

As Amber will be with me for all of the above options, it is essential that we meet on a neutral territory at first, to avoid any possible confrontation between the pups.
